Mother : What happened, Mustafa?
Mustafa : I fell off my bike. I banged my chin.

Structures
The past simple tense زمن الماضي البسيط
الماضي البسيط هو التصريف الثاني للفعل ( أفعال منتظمة، أفعال غير منتظمة تحفظ )
أفعال منتظمة like liked bang banged
أفعال غير منظمة eat ate fall fell
يعبر الماضي البسيط عن شيء بدأ وانتهي في الماضي.
يستخدم الماضي البسيط مع الكلمات الآتية :
yesterday – last ( week – month – year ) – ago – in the past
زمن الماضي البسيط في صيغة الإثبات Affirmative
1. I fell off my bike. I banged my chin.
2. I cut my finger and hurt my arm.
3. Mahmud broke his arm.
- للسؤال بمعني " هل ....؟ " عن فعل حدث في الماضي البسيط نستخدم :
Did + الفاعل + + الفعل في المصدر ……?
Did Adel band his chin?
Yes, he did. Or No, he didn’t.
صيغة الاستفهام في زمن الماضي البسيط باستخدام كلمات الاستفهام الآتية :
1- What happened, Adel?
- I fell off my bike.
2- Where did you go last week?
- We went to the zoo.
3- When did he get up yesterday?
- He got up at six o’clock.
زمن الماضي البسيط في صيغة النفي Negative
الفاعل + didn’t ( did not ) + الفعل في المصدر
I fell off my bike.
I didn’t fall off my bike.
The imperative صيغة الأمر
تبدأ الجملة في صيغة الأمر المثبت بالفعل في المصدر بدون فاعل.
تستخدم صيغة الأمر في إعطاء الأوامر والتعليمات ، وفي الطلب.
Wash the cut.
Open the door.
Say your name.
Close the window.
Put a bandage on your head.
