there were clouds so there was no shadow to guide them كانت هناك سحب لذلك لم يكن هناك ظل ليرشدهم
2-How long were they delayed ? why ? كم من الوقت تأخروا ؟ ولماذا
they were delayed for 3 days because of the cloudsتأخروا لمدة ثلاثة ايام بسبب السحب
3- When did the sun shine again? How was it helpful to the three men? متى اشرقت الشمس مرة اخى ؟ كيف كان ذلك مفيد لهم ؟
The sun shone again on the 28th of June. The shadow of Scartaris showed them which chimney to go down.
اشرقت فى لثامن و العشرون من يونيو . و قد وضح لهم ظل جبل ( اسكارتيرز اى مدخنة ينزلون فيها .
4-Which chimney did they go into ? why ? اى مدخنة دخلوا بها ولماذا
they went into the middle chimney as the shadow of scartaris fell on it المدخنة الوسطى لان ظل سكارتريز سقط عليها

It was getting darker as the chimney was getting narrower.
